Webcomic: MS Paint Adventures

If you have ever had the chance to play an old school point and click adventure (the genre made popular by developers like Lucas Arts and Sierra in the early 90's, then died out near the end of the decade) game (like Monkey Island, Indiana Jones, or Sam and Max), or even played text based adventure games like Zork(GOD DAMN GRUES KILL ME EVERYTIME), then you'll enjoy this webcomic.
The idea is that the artist will start a story (the latest one revolving around an incompetent, extremely hard boiled detective named Problem Sleuth, who is on the hunt for a case to solve, dames, and candy corn), then readers will give responses for commands, much like an adventure game, and the next panel will draw out said actions. This of course ends up with the ridiculous actions being suggested and followed through, comedy of course ensues (seriously how could it not with a candy corn vampire or an awesome fort?). After suffering the atrocities of countless sprite comics (seriously if your going to make a comic come up with something new COPY PASTING SPRITES THEN INSERTING LOLOLCAKEISLIE IS NOT NEW OR FUNNY) and just generally unfunny video game web comics, it is a relief to read one that can summon everything from a silent chuckle to audible bursts of laughter.
After reading this comic you may find yourself digging up that old CD of Monkey Island (or that floppy disk with Zork on it) to quench your thirst for some classic action adventure games. Or you could do like I did, put on your tan, round-rimmed private-eye hat, slanted at the perfect angle so that it casts a shadow over your face. Put on the matching overcoat, to disguise the outlines of your body, who knows what you may concealing, a tommy gun reading to unleash a spray of death at your enemies, or several bags of candy corn. Then grab your key (key, gun, apparently there's no difference in the life of Problem Sleuth) and wander around in the depth of a darkened city, looking for cases to solve and dames to save, pumping hot lead into any one who questions just how hard boiled and plain fucking awesome you are.
