I was playing Pokemon on my Game Boy micro today (yet again), and it reminded me of a game if found with StumbleUpon a while ago that looked pretty interesting. Bob's game is an old school 2D adventure game. What makes it interesting is that Bob has done everything, and I mean every little thing, himself. None of the pictures, music, etc. was taken from other sources, it's all made by Bob himself. He is incredibly detailed in his work. Every aspect of the game has been fine tuned and Bob does not reuse the same characters and things over and over like many 2D games do.The game is sadly not available at the moment, but Bob is working very hard to change that. I love immersive and intricate games and this delivers that. It reminds me of the Elder Scrolls series in that respect. It looks like the story and background are very strong and there is a big world in the game. For me that makes a game like this great. Bob's game is designed for the Game Boy DS, and may be available to download on the new DSi. From what I've seen Bob has done some great work and this game deserves to be published.
