Ahoy thar, as you can see from the little text above the youtube video, I'm Tagger. Been a gamer since before I could realize that my controller wasn't really plugged in and that I wasn't really playing as the “really cool guy with a whip” in castelvania. Since then I've played everything from console games, to arcade games, to computer games, would be considered a hard core gamer. Other than that anything technology/science/geek related and I'm into it (lolbandgeek).

So to get to the point, I want to talk about a nice little free to play (by free I mean free, none of this cash shop/premium member bullshit some publishers try to shove down you're throat to play their “free” games) 3^rd person shooter, S4 (Style, eSper, Shooting, Sports), currently in open beta. If you have ever played or heard of GunZ, it is much like that. If you haven't, S4 is a shooting game that takes advantage of the 3^rd person view to throw dodging, flying, jumping, flipping, swords, dashing, and all sorts of nice flashy stuff into the mix while killing your opponents . There is two modes of play, Touch down, pretty much soccer except you don't get red cards for killing people (I mean come on there wasn't a "no plasma sword" rule in the book, how was I supposed to know), and Team Death Match, which explains itself. It's a very beginner friendly game, it will kick high level players and players with high kill to death ratios from the beginner servers, so it gives you a chance to learn with people around your skill level. Most of the weapons are pretty balanced (in fact I still use the beginner gun myself), so you aren't going to get owned by some dude with some crazy gun you don't have access to....you may still get owned though. The music is pretty decent at first, but it gets very repetitive (its set to loop one song per map lawl), so just turn it off and play some timesplitter's music in the background and you'll be ready to own face. I recommend just downloading it and playing it for yourself (I can say LOL AWESOME GAME GAIS all I want, but it doesn't make it awesome), the most important thing is that it is just a quick to get into game that offers a good way to relax and have fun after a long day at work, school, or playing everquest all day in your mom's basement.
