Fans were treated to a very tasty bit of information this past week. Ubisoft announced that Altair skin would be available in the New Prince of Persia. Altair is the hero from the famous historical fiction video game, Assassin's Creed. However they are not the first ones to do this, Metal Gear Solid 4 also features the Altair Skin, but players find the Assassin's emblem within the game to unlock it.

Prince of Persia has long been one of the best examples of a action adventure games (along the same vein as God of War), and with Ubisoft as one of the best video game developers in the video game industry. Prince of Persia was revived in 2003 with the release of the Sands of Time, which received widespread praise. In more recent news the series has taken a different turn, with the upcoming release of the new Prince of Persia in December.

This new addition features a new Prince, a new story, and new characters, but still in keeping with the original formula of Prince of Persia we have come to love. This new story focuses on the destruction of the Tree of Life and the release of the god of darkness, who starts to corrupt the land. The Prince seeks to cleanse the land and defeat the god of darkness.

Bottom Line: The latest addition to the Prince of Persia franchise is not something to be missed... I don't know about you but I'll be looking for it on December 2.
