Classic Games on Your New Computer

Do any of you still love to play an old game from time to time, but hate that its seems like the better you build your computer the harder it is to play those games? Well there's a solution now, and I thinks it's a great one. A website called Good Old Games is going to offer an ever expanding collection of old games for download. No more being unable to find a copy of the game, or even worse finding one and not being able to get it to work. The downloads are dirt cheap, six or ten dollars, and once you buy a game you can download it as many times as you want. But wait, it gets even better. All the games are guaranteed to be Vista and XP compatible. The service is currently in beta, but I managed to get into the beta no problem because they decided not to limit the number of people. Once the library gets going and there's a considerable community of members, this is going to be the best site for old games. In my opinion this is the best idea for an online service ever. Unlike similar services such as GameTap, there is no client to install, and no monthly fee. I just hate the idea of always having to give them more money, and I feel like I'm still paying for the games I don't play. With this you can have the games you want when you want them, and for hardly any money.

No way, this is awesome! I always used Dos Box in the past to try to get old windows 95 games to work, but this seems a lot more stable and less confusing. Plus Dos Box doesn't really like Vista, much like the entire world! I will definitely have to check this out.

This is amazing!! When I first got my laptop last year, I tried putting my old computer games on it but they wouldn't work because I have Vista!! I was devastated!! This definitely just brought my hopes back and I can't wait to check it out! Thanks!
